Both of us showing some wear at 31 years of age.

Rose City Motorcycle Museum

Not sure how we missed a motorcycle museum just blocks from the garage, but we did. Every 1st tuesday Rose City Motorcycle Museum has a get together to drink beer, check out the bikes and BBQ. Tons of old brits, a stunning Ariel, trials bikes and probably the best little collection of Ducati’s we’ve seen. We met Tom Young the owner who is as nice as they come. We will probably become regulars now that we are in the know. Literally, 4 blocks away….what the hell?!

Rags To Riches

Picked up some old CL160 headlight buckets at the swap meet last weekend. Picked the one in the best / worst shape and gave it new life. Thanks Tony for the spot.

So, plans fell through, people bailed and the weather looked iffy for our ride to the OVM Motorcycle show / swap meet in Corvallis. I decided to hop on The Natural and head down anyhow. Funny how when you ride by yourself bombing down I5 seems like the better choice then taking a nice rural route. 90 Miles down and 90 back are a little rough on a stripped down bike but it worked out. This was the best vintage show I’ve been to ever. Plenty of Vincent’s, Ducati’s, Nortons, Triumphs, Indians…..everything. Managed to snap a few pics while walking around in awe. I should mention that Isaiah, Tony and Asa all made the trip south as well just not on motorcyles. All in all a great Sunday.

Tanks

One done and one stripped and ready for color.

Always bring your tools. We found out the hard way.

While I found motorcycles down in Salem, Kara found bikes and took Scooter for a ride. Tony has some classics down there!

More Salem pics from our visit.

Kara and I took a trip down to Salem to visit some of the guys down there last weekend. Here are some pics of Isaiah’s progress on his 750.

The Oregon Lotto - “It does good things” - or at least it did in Jeret’s case. He played some mega bucks and won enough for us to go grab this bad boy. We have a long list of bikes to build up, but this one won’t take much to get mean. Looking forward to having Corpse on some rides!

Vorpal Images

Ben from Vorpal  took some great photos of The Natural the other weekend. Awesome dude and if your in the Portland area and want some photos hit him up.

We took advantage of the first 70 degree day we’ve had for a long time. Rode out hwy 14 (Washington Side of the Gorge) then into Hood River for some beers and food. Back to Portland via 84 to the scenic hwy. Awesome ride with one break down and one close call. Not pictured here is Miguel’s amazing RD 400.

Picked up a new summertime helmet. I’ve been looking for something full face and iconic for quite a while. I ordered a Bubba-Z from Joe King back in early september of 2010. It’s been over 7 months now and I’ve decided to give up on the idea of actually getting that helmet before 2012. After that it won’t matter anyway. Looks like this Moto 4 will have to do the trick.
