More great work from Ginger @ New Church. These are some sneak peaks of the work going on right now on The Natural. Looks like this bike will be in a photography show here in Portland in October. Plans for the bike have changed a bit and we have a lot of work to do in a short time. More to come!
It’s been a bit slow in the shop as of late with a lot of waiting on parts for a CB500F and a CL360. Always nice to come home to boxes sitting by the door.
The Natural’s seat is about all wrapped up. We will get some pics up as soon as we get it back from Ginger @ New Church. We are getting Ginger to work her magic on the 350F we finished up and then we’ll get it shot as well.
Some nice work from Ginger @ New Church. She took the stock pan and slimmed it down and gave it some sexy channels. We’ve got a line of seats for her to make pretty.
Weeknights and weekends for 3 weeks and Smooth Criminal (The latest 350F) is about ready to ride. There are still some finishing to do on it, so for now here are some non-discript shots. A little work on the carbs tomorrow and she is ready for a test ride.
More updates on Asa’s 350F project, Rvi’s CL175 and The Natural coming soon.
Been super busy on the latest 350Four. It will be road worthy this weekend if it kills us getting it there. It will be three weeks since we picked it up this Saturday and it’s already a whole new machine. We will have pics of Kara’s yet to be named bike up this weekend.
Another one for the project list - Ryan’s 500Four is in line for a makeover.
Randoms from the last week. Will have some photos of the 350f in the pics below all done up soon. Satin / Off-White and Brown…..oooh.
This is the product of our little roadtrip last weekend. It’s a bit rough, but she’s already been stripped and the powder coating has started. Besides a good mechanical run through the bike will have a whole new aesthetic - drag bars (angled down), single tac (Mint CB750) custom fork tubes, fork gators, off white powder coated tank with custom black “stock” pin striping and knee pads, brown channel stitched seat using stock pan, bobbed fender, all satin wheels with new Firestone Deluxe Champions, satin black engine covers, carb bowls, springs….well, everything else is looking satin black at this point.
Roadtrip! Kara (Boom Boom) and I made the trek to Hayden Idaho this last weekend to pick up another project. Kara is moving on up to a CB350F. Decent price from a good guy and we had fun for about 825miles. We were definitely glad to get back to Portland by the end of it.
Asa got back from Seattle with a 1959 BSA A10 Super Rocket (we think?) Regardless this bike is amazing. Plans are for some new tires, flat Vincent style bars and a good mechanical run through. That whole shifting with the right foot will be interesting.
NEEDING SOME HELP identifying the orange tank on this CL. We had it laying around the shop and dropped it on Rvi’s bike. The tank with the satin wheels looks amazing. We need to hunt down a petcock and we are having a hell of a time figuring out this tank. Thought it was an SL, but we can’t find a bike to match it to? If you have any ideas send us an email we would greatly appreciate it. We also went and picked up a CL360 that belongs to one of my bosses. Were going to put some work into it to get it running smooth, but most of the work will be cosmetic. Need to take it to the mean side of things.
In other news: Asa is on his way back from Seattle with a 1959 BSA! As soon as he’s back we will get some picks and information on here. Pretty stoked. We will also be picking up another CB 350 Four (Kara’s new project) next weekend. A huge thank you goes out to Sonny for being such a rad guy in dealing with us and to my cousin Preston for picking it up and holding it. Can’t wait to get it, but driving to Spokane and back doesn’t sound like the best time.
Lastly, Leo’s 2007 Ducati Sport Classic is getting some powder coating done to it right now, but I will be posting some pics very soon. This bike is badass!
Asa got some velocity stacks for his 350 Four project. He has the stock tank sitting on there, but he’s planning on making his own CR(long) style tank. It’s looking mean…needed to put up a couple more pics
Weekend shots (continued)
What a great weekend. Spent some time at James’ shop. Met up with Ginger from New Church who is going to be doing a lot of upholstry work for us, threw some velocity stacks on The Natural and we all rolled down to Bye and Bye for some beers.
Ryan rolled by with his 68’ Mustang today. We attempted to adjust the timing, but with little success. It’s a bit easier on a motorcycle.
